OF THE
HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER
(HCV)
WAITING LIST
Charleston-Kanawha
Housing Authority (CKHA) announces the closure of the Housing Choice
Voucher (Section 8) Waiting List, effective August 29, 2025, at
1:00 p.m.
After this
date, no
new applications
will be accepted until further notice.
Applicants who
have already applied will remain on the waiting list and do not need to reapply. Public Notice will be provided when CKHA
determines to re-open the waiting list.
Charleston-Kanawha Housing has available affordable housing in
Charleston, West Virginia and throughout the Kanawha, Clay, and Putnam
Counties.
Charleston-Kanawha Housing offers
family and senior communities as well as private housing
options.
